Find The Conveyor System For Your Bulk Goods

Our Services

KEITEL CONVEYORS GMBH offers worldwide service through qualified and expert staff.

If necessary, we will support you within 24 hours. And that worldwide.

From the general layout to the running system.

On request, KEITEL CONVEYORS can take over the complete project planning for your conveyor systems.
Based on your information, we select the suitable conveyor systems and determine the optimal performance variant. We will make you our offer accordingly.

We create the layout plans for your conveyor system for you. We always work solution-oriented according to your requirements. Many years of experience and highly qualified employees are our guarantee that the system will be tailored to your needs.

Are you planning a new plant or are you planning to restructure your plant? Arrange a non-binding consultation appointment with us.

Our conveyor systems - from trough chain conveyors to elevators - are manufactured in Germany by qualified specialists. The individual production steps are subject to constant quality control. Only first quality leaves our production facility. This is how we achieve a long service life for our systems.

We assemble your conveyors worldwide. Our internationally experienced fitters set up your system or support your staff with new assemblies or revisions.

Please send your request to us directly. We will immediately make you an attractive offer.

KEITEL CONVEYORS offers its customers spare parts and support for the entire service life of their own systems - and also for conveyors from other manufacturers. Here you can quickly and directly inquire about standard, wear and spare parts for your system. When selecting the required parts, please refer to your overview sheet for the relevant conveyor documentation.

Another possibility for conveying bulk goods is the use of belt conveyors, the somewhat cheaper alternative to trough chain conveyors. Belt conveyor systems can be used up to an incline of approx. 27 degrees. As a rule, belt conveyors are open systems.

Conveyor Belt

In the case of a trough chain conveyor, a single-strand or two-strand chain with closely spaced carriers is moved forward in a closed trough at moderate speed. At the loading point, the material to be conveyed falls onto the conveying chain center and is initially carried along by the crossbars and then by the layer of material that is already in motion. The movement of the lower layers of material is transferred to the upper layers up to a certain, self-adjusting height, so that the entire material being conveyed, together with the chain, forms a body that glides at a constant speed. The cross section of the conveyed material is many times larger than the entrainment device. With a relatively small cross-section, large quantities can therefore be transported. Trough chain conveyors can be used with an incline of 0 - 90 degrees.

Components of a trough chain conveyor are: drive and end station, trough, conveyor chain. KEITEL CONVEYORS only use conveyor chains made of drop-forged links, whereby our benchmark is Bühler quality.

Due to their robust construction, mechanical trough chain conveyors are ideal for continuous use. Maintenance and repair costs are relatively low in these systems. Another advantage is the dry and dust-free conveyance through the closed system.

Trough Chain Conveyor

If bulk goods are only to be transported over short distances, screw conveyors (also known as screw conveyors) are suitable. Here the conveying element is a helical surface made of sheet metal or strip steel, which is rotated around its axis and pushes the conveyed material forward in a trough or pipe. Screw conveyors can be used very variably. In this way, the bulk material can be transported in a horizontal or vertical direction.

Screw Conveyor

Carriers are attached to parallel endlessly revolving conveyor chains. These push the goods to be conveyed in front of them within a shaft on the floor. Scraper chain conveyors have several advantages over belt conveyors, e.g. B. sticking of the material to the ground is avoided, since the drivers constantly scrape the ground. The conveying direction can be selected to be horizontal and up to 50 ° increasing. Scraper chain conveyors (also called tank conveyors or chain scraper conveyors) can be used in several areas such as wood, ash, hot granules or even slag.

Elevators and bucket elevators are used for the vertical conveyance of bulk goods. This solution is recommended when large quantities have to be conveyed to great heights. For safety reasons, we only use our elevators in the wet chip area.

"Full-leaf screws" are used for dusty, fine-grained and non-baking bulk goods and consist either of a continuous thread or of individual butt-connected screw wing segments.
With "tape threads" there is a gap between the thread itself and the worm shaft. The thread is connected to the shaft via webs. This design is used for conveying lumpy and sticky bulk materials. "Paddle snails" do not have a continuous thread, they consist of individual segments that are connected to the shaft. This design is suitable for baking goods.
